It was in 1919, shortly after the World War I when a naturalist named William Long observed an unusual connection between members of a wolf pack. He was wondered if there can be the similar relation between pets and their owners as well. When trying to figure it out, he described how his friend´s dog was able to star waiting at the door at the same time his friend was leaving his office.
7. Whiskins´ special ability

Whiskins is a cat living in a family of the professor of the University of California. According to the professor´s wife, Whiskins is an example of the pets and owners telepathy because the cat is able to recognize if it is the professor who is calling when the phone is ringing.
