First Steps in Emergency Care
Dhindsa revealed that five ambulances, equipped with Basic Life Support (BLS) systems, have been deployed in Gurugram. These vehicles feature life-saving tools such as oxygen cylinders, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), stretchers, monitors, suction machines, and essential emergency medicines. Each ambulance is staffed with a paramedic, an assistant, and a trained driver to ensure top-tier care.

Users in the serviceable areas can book ambulances directly through the Blinkit app. Highlighting the company’s social commitment, Dhindsa clarified that the initiative is not profit-driven. Instead, it aims to offer the service at an affordable cost. “Profit is not a goal here,” Dhindsa stated. “We will operate this service at an affordable cost for customers and invest in really solving this critical problem for the long term.”

Blinkit is carefully scaling the service and intends to expand to other major cities over the next two years. While the Gurugram rollout is the initial phase, the company envisions providing nationwide access to swift and dependable ambulance services.
