The SpaDeX Mission Details

The SpaDeX mission, launched on December 30, 2024, involved two satellites, designated as SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target). These satellites were sent into a 475-kilometer circular orbit aboard the trusted PSLV C60 rocket. The primary goal of this experiment was to demonstrate the ability to dock satellites in orbit—an essential capability for ambitious future missions like Chandrayaan-4 and the Bhartiya Antariksha station.
